From the dance floor to the DJ booth. It started on the dance floors of Puerto Banús in 1999. The first time I heard soulful vocals from afroamerican female singers over a house groove, I got goosebumps. I loved sharing that energy with everyone around me on the floor, and the feeling never left me. In 2011 I started DJing for fun, and in 2018 it became my profession.

The venue and the crowd decide where the night goes. What I watch for is the moment people stop thinking and just move, when the music takes over and they can't stop. That's when I know the room is with me.

I never prepare my sets. I dig through my crate live and pick what feels right for the room. We write the story together on the dance floor, from the first track to the last. The magic is in the transitions, the moment we all feel something is coming and can't wait for what's next.

From dinner to dance floor

At a restaurant I start deep and soulful, at a relaxed tempo, mostly melodic and without vocals. People feel the music instead of following lyrics, and they can still enjoy their conversation. Then, after a few melodic tracks, a vocal drops and the whole room wakes up. From there, I follow the room.

What to expect

Underground house music, not the Spotify Top 100 or radio hits. Expect discoveries, not the charts. My favourite compliment is when people come up to the booth to tell me they can't stop grooving.
